The Enchantment of Lamreh Hill // Hill with Views of the Blue Sea That Spoils the Eyes

Tonight, I want to share a place and tourist attraction that should be on your travel list if you're in Aceh. It's called Bukit Lamreh, which offers a breathtaking panorama of capes and cliff landscapes.

Located in Lamreh Village, precisely in Krueng Raya District, about 1 km from Malahayati Harbor, on the way to this destination, I saw a sight that was pleasing to the eye.

My friends and I traveled to this place in the afternoon. I expected it to be crowded with visitors. The trip was a bit more enjoyable in the afternoon than during the day. The weather in my area has recently been very sunny, so if we had gone during the day, it would have been a bit tiring.

After a journey that took about an hour from downtown Banda Aceh, we arrived at the Bukit Lamreh tourist destination.

Personally, I think the route to Bukit Lamreh is quite long. It's located at least 33 km from Banda Aceh city, and it takes about 40 to 60 minutes to get there.
But it's all worth it with its beauty. The moment we first arrived, I was immediately amazed, as if we were in the vast Silvana area. I saw several visitors already there. Actually, there were quite a lot of visitors that afternoon, but considering the expansive area and the relatively unpopular location, visitors were scattered around, not gathered in one spot.

Although it's still a relatively unknown tourist destination, as I mentioned above, Lamreh Hill is guaranteed to offer awe-inspiring beauty. This area offers undeniable scenic charm.

Not far from Lamreh Hill is a famous white sand beach, which I've shared about in previous blog posts. This beach can be seen directly from the top of Lamreh Hill, which I visited this time, offering a truly captivating view.
Lamreh Hill is also a popular camping spot. You can witness the beautiful sunrise in the morning, and in the evening, you can enjoy the sunset in the west.

This tourist destination is relatively new, so its facilities aren't as comprehensive as those found at other tourist attractions. However, the views it offers are a distinct advantage.

If you're traveling here, I highly recommend bringing your own food, as I've seen many visitors bring their own, especially those who want to spend time grilling fish while enjoying the stunning scenery, whether with family or friends in the area.
