Good evening, my friends, wherever you are. I hope you are all healthy and happy, allowing you to carry out your daily activities as usual. I hope you all have a pleasant day.
In this blog, I want to share one of the grandest mosques and an icon of Aceh Province: the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, located in Banda Aceh City.
So, please continue following my blog to see some images of the mosque, which I took during my visit to the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque a few days ago.

After my friends and I had our fill of exploring one of the coastal tourist destinations I've shared in my previous blog, we headed to downtown Banda Aceh, where our next destination was the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque.
My friends...
As soon as we entered the mosque complex, the hustle and bustle of the city seemed to subside, replaced by an atmosphere of solemnity, silence, and peace.
From a distance, the most prominent feature of the mosque is the main minaret, which you can see in some of the images I've shared above.
Long before becoming a major icon of Aceh province, this mosque also stood as a silent witness to the glory of the Aceh Darussalam Sultanate and a center for the development of religious knowledge since the era of Sultan Iskandar Muda, a topic I briefly discussed in a blog post I shared a few months ago.

Then after I passed through the main gate, I was immediately greeted by the beautiful architecture of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. The architecture of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque is a combination of aesthetic beauty and philosophical depth, which I think combines the Indian Mughal style with a modern touch. The characteristics that immediately caught my attention were the black dome, white pillars and the charm of the marble which was said to be sent directly from Italy.

As I began exploring the mosque grounds, I noticed several large outdoor screens in various corners. The local guide explained that these screens were used for teaching, usually held at night.
Furthermore, I realized that directly in front of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque was a pond surrounded by beautiful flowers, which even bloomed at certain times.

Furthermore, within the mosque grounds, there's also a garden where visitors can enjoy the green open space.
Regarding other facilities, the mosque is also very complete, considering that it has become a magnet for religious and educational tourism. Its historical charm, unique architecture, and inspiring stories make the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque a magnet for religious and educational tourism, drawing thousands of tourists from around the world to admire its beauty, learn about the history of Islam in Aceh, and experience spiritual serenity.

Another interesting feature of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque is the giant umbrellas and unique ablution area.
My friends...
One of the mosque's modern innovations is the installation of giant hydraulic umbrellas in the courtyard, similar to the giant umbrellas in Medina. When opened, these umbrellas automatically open, allowing visitors to seek shelter beneath them.
Furthermore, the modern and clean underground ablution area is another facility demonstrating the mosque's commitment to the comfort of its worshippers.

I think if you ever find yourself in Aceh Province, you should definitely stop by and visit the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque. Besides being renowned for its beautiful architecture, it also boasts a long history.
Well, my friends, those are some of the images and short posts from me on this blog. I hope you all enjoyed and enjoyed what I've shared. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have taken the time to view and read my blog to the end.
Please leave your comments, support, and input, as they mean a lot to me, helping me create a better blog in the future.
That's all for now.
Greetings everyone, and see you in my next blog.
