Good evening, my friends, wherever you are. As always, I hope you are all healthy and happy so you can go about your daily activities as usual. I hope you all have a pleasant day.
In this blog, I want to share some images with all of you in this beloved community. This concerns one of the sites that has become a cultural heritage site: the tomb of Sheikh Kuala, a charismatic cleric in Aceh and quite an expert in the field of law.
So, please continue to follow this simple blog to see some of these places through some images that I will share later with short articles.

Located in Deah Raya village, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh City, the tomb takes about 15 minutes to reach, covering a distance of approximately 8 km from the center of Banda Aceh. These are some of the photos I took while traveling to the tomb from Ulee Lhee Harbor, on a very sunny day.
My friend...
The Syiah Kuala tomb is the tomb of a great Ahlussunnah Wal Jamaah scholar, whose name is famous everywhere. Syiah Kuala is not his real name, but because he lived in the Kuala village, he was given the nickname Syiah Kuala. Furthermore, the tomb is now a cultural heritage site.

Upon entering the cemetery, I immediately saw a very large open area, which is usually used as a parking area for visitors' vehicles. There's no entrance fee to the Syiah Kuala cemetery. The cemetery is also close to the beach, allowing visitors to make a pilgrimage and enjoy the panoramic view of the sea, as the tomb is located on the shore of Syiah Kuala Beach.
Above are some pictures I took upon my first entry into the cemetery.

Then I began exploring the area around the tomb and found several pamphlets containing warnings for visitors to the Syiah Kuala tomb, which were mandatory and must be obeyed. One of the rules that prohibits women from wearing trousers is that this is a cultural heritage site that has been well-managed. He was also a charismatic cleric during the former Acehnese government.
Furthermore, he was the only cleric to translate the 30 chapters of the Quran at a time when no one else had yet interpreted it. He also created a law book as a guide for the Acehnese kingdom in the past. It's no surprise that a hadith in the Majapahit Kingdom mentions the position of Syiah Kuala as "adat bak po Teumeruhom, hukum bak syiah Kuala," meaning that custom resides in po Teumeruhom and law resides in Syiah Kuala.
Another thing that I found was several signposts that showed the areas and facilities provided by the place, considering that this place is very large, these signs are very useful for visitors and pilgrims who are in the yard.

Next, I continued exploring the cultural heritage site. As I mentioned above, Syiah Kuala is not his real name, as he lived in the village of Kuala, hence the nickname Syiah Kuala. His real name was Tengku Haji Sheikh Abdurrauf bin Ali Al Fansury Al Singkili.
He was born in Singkili, hence the word "singkili," meaning "born in Singkil," but he was of Malay descent. You can see a brief biography on the board I've shared some pictures of above.
My friend...
Sheikh Abdurrauf was born in 1591 AD and died in 1696 AD at the age of 105. He served as Khadhi Malikul Adil during the reign of Queen Safiatuddin of the Aceh Darussalam Kingdom for 59 years.
During the reign of Iskandar Muda, one of his sons was executed, and his daughter, named Ratu, succeeded him. The leadership of the clerics remained in power for 59 years.
And if you are interested in looking for details of his story then I think you can look for it on the internet, because his story is very interesting to follow.

As I mentioned above, this area also provides a prayer room, a prayer room, a well, and even a mosque.
These are some pictures I took of some of the facilities here.
Well, my friends, those are some pictures and a short article from me about one of the cultural heritage sites, the Syiah Kuala cemetery in Banda Aceh.
I hope you all enjoyed and were entertained by what I shared. I also extend my deepest gratitude to all of you who took the time to view and read my blog to the end.
Please leave your comments, support, and input, as they mean a lot to me, so I can make this blog even better in the future.
That's all for now.
Greetings everyone, and see you in my next blog.
