Good evening, fellow travelers, wherever you are. As always, I hope you are all staying healthy and happy, allowing you to go about your daily activities smoothly, and I hope you all have a pleasant day.
In this blog, I'm back again to share some images of Ulee Lheue Harbor, which also marks the beginning of my adventure to Sabang Island.
So, please continue to follow my simple blog to see some images of the harbor, which I've also included with short articles.

After having breakfast in the harbor area, which I have shared a glimpse of in my previous blog, then one of my friends and I started to continue our journey, our main destination being the island across from us, namely Sabang.

It was a bit of a shame because the slow boat tickets were all sold out. If we wanted to buy tickets for the slow boat, we would have to wait until the next day because all the schedules were full. So, we decided to travel by fast boat. We had to park our motorcycles in the parking lot inside the port, which was equipped with a toll card for security.
After booking our tickets online, they were all sold out. The next step was to buy tickets offline. One of my friends immediately queued to buy tickets offline at the port. The queue was very long, considering the online tickets were sold out. These are some pictures I took when one of my friends was in line to buy tickets offline for the fast boat for our trip to Sabang Island.

While waiting for my friend to buy a ticket who was queuing, I took a little time to see and enjoy a glimpse of the scenery in the port area, where I started to head to the slow boat parking area, there I saw a slow boat that had just left the port but there was still one more unit left for its departure which made me immediately go to that place to take some pictures.

And this is the view as the boat departs for Sabang Island. This is a slow boat. With this boat, we can take private vehicles to the island across. However, unfortunately, tickets for this slow boat were sold out, so we had to take the initiative to go to the island across by speedboat.
My friends...
Usually in the afternoon, one of the interesting attractions to try when there are crowds while waiting for the boat to arrive is a tour of the sea on a traditional boat, usually called a sampan. From the boat, we can enjoy the beautiful sea and see fishermen at sea fishing. This trip also offers views of the Bukit Lampu Tower, one of the important landmarks in Banda Aceh City. However, it's a bit of a shame that because we arrived early in the morning, this attraction wasn't available yet, as it's usually available in the afternoon.

Then, as I turned to another angle, I saw that along the waters and along the shoreline of the harbor, there were so many traditional fishing boats neatly lined up. Several speedboats were also waiting for passengers to travel to various areas along the harbor route. Of course, the beautiful scenery was a feast for the eyes.

Therefore, Ulee Lheue Harbor is not only a tourist destination for travelers, but also a crucial hub for local economic development in Aceh. It is home to various types of small and medium-sized enterprises, as I mentioned in my previous blog, and the boats that keep Aceh's economy running smoothly and stably.

And without realizing it, my friend approached me, having successfully purchased a ticket. The journey took almost an hour, and I don't think it was a short time, but I didn't notice it because I was so enjoying the atmosphere of the harbor area.
My friend...
The ticket price per person is around IDR 100,000 for the fast boat, or about $5.50 in US dollars. This makes the fast boat a slightly shorter journey to Sabang Island, taking about 45 minutes, compared to the slow boat, which takes almost two hours, and that depends on the weather.

Ten minutes later, I heard the arrival of the ship for our chosen route. My friend and I immediately headed to the docking area for a smooth journey to Sabang Island. Stay tuned for my next blog post, which will share details about my adventures and journey.
My friends...
Based on my personal experience, as I've shared above, if you ever want to travel or visit Sabang Island, I highly recommend purchasing tickets online two or three days before departure. Arriving at the port without purchasing tickets online will make your trip extremely complicated. Even if tickets are sold out, you'll have to wait in a very long queue. Even offline tickets can sell out if there are heavy crowds, which is usually the case on weekends.
Alright, my friends, those are some pictures and a short post from me on this blog about my personal experience that I'm sharing with my beloved community. This is about my trip to Sabang Island, which encountered a few obstacles at the port. I hope you all enjoyed and were entertained by what I shared. I also hope this blog can provide valuable lessons for all of you who might one day want to vacation to Sabang Island.
That's all for now.
Greetings everyone, and see you in my next blog.
