Ciudad de Tigre: un encanto fluvial / Tigre City: river charm
Buenos días, muchos meses sin compartir algunas de mis vivencias en la comunidad, pero siempre pendiente de ustedes. El día de hoy, quiero mostrar un lindo paseo que realice junto a mi pequeña hija, prima y una gran amiga de la familia, a una localidad llamada Tigre, la cual esta ubicada dentro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Un día fresco, con sol hermoso que merecía ser disfrutado y que mejor hacerlo fuera del bullicio de la ciudad, explorando nuevos aires, hermosa naturaleza rodeada del Rio Tigre en el Delta de Paraná.
Good morning, it's been many months since I've shared any of my experiences in the community, but I'm always thinking of you. Today, I want to share a lovely outing I took with my young daughter, my cousin, and a close family friend to a town called Tigre, located in the province of Buenos Aires. It was a cool day with beautiful sunshine that deserved to be enjoyed, and what better way to do so than away from the hustle and bustle of the city, exploring new surroundings and beautiful nature surrounded by the Tigre River in the Paraná Delta.
Para poder llegar a Tigre se puede ir de diferentes formas: autobús, taxi o tren, siendo este último la opción elegida, porque aparte de llevarte al lugar, ya tomarlo es una experiencia inolvidable, su nombre es Tren de la Costa, un tren relativamente pequeño que pasa por zonas residenciales de clase alta, con pequeños restaurantes en algunas de las estaciones para bajar un rato y tomar un café. Por supuesto, como su nombre lo indica, este recorre una parte de la costa, donde puede observar el famoso Rio de la Plata. Todo el recorrido duró aproximadamente unos 20 minutos.
There are several ways to get to Tigre: bus, taxi, or train. We chose the latter because, apart from taking you to your destination, the ride itself is an unforgettable experience. The train is called Tren de la Costa, a relatively small train that passes through upscale residential areas, with small restaurants at some of the stations where you can get off for a while and have a coffee. Of course, as its name suggests, it runs along part of the coast, where you can see the famous Rio de la Plata. The entire journey took approximately 20 minutes.
Al llegar a Tigre, había muchos turistas y de repente los veo viendo hacia el cielo, como si algo pasara, cuando observo hay un fenómeno que no sé cómo se llama, pero ya lo había visto antes, que es la formación de un aro de luz que rodea al sol, todo un espectáculo, en especial para mi hija que no lo había visto. Así que, Tigre comenzó recibiéndonos de buena manera.
When we arrived in Tigre, there were lots of tourists, and suddenly I saw them looking up at the sky, as if something was happening. When I looked up, I saw a phenomenon that I don't know the name of, but I had seen it before. It was a ring of light surrounding the sun, quite a spectacle, especially for my daughter, who had never seen it before. So, Tigre gave us a warm welcome.
Otro elemento importante que nos encontramos al salir de la estación, es la variedad de tienditas de artesanos (algo que siempre me ha encantado de los lugares que visito), una más hermosa que otra, con artículos muy bien elaborados que te atraen para que los compres. Adicional a ello, a su alrededor hay un gran casino, del otro lado un parque de agua y juegos mecánicos. Es decir, no tienes motivos para no divertirte, sea cual sea tu edad. Nosotras en esta oportunidad optamos por conocer más la ciudad y caminar por sus calles.
Another important feature we encountered upon leaving the station was the variety of artisan shops (something I have always loved about the places I visit), each one more beautiful than the last, with beautifully crafted items that entice you to buy them. In addition, there is a large casino nearby, and on the other side, a water park and amusement rides. In other words, there's no reason not to have fun, whatever your age. On this occasion, we decided to explore the city and walk through its streets.
En primer lugar debo destacar que las casas tienen una arquitectura sencilla pero elegante, cuya naturaleza se integra de una manera armoniosa. Es muy limpia esta ciudad y la conexión con el rio es lo más atractivo, ya que la atraviesa y la cantidad de actividad y tráfico de pequeños barcos es increíble, tanto de transporte, actividad deportiva o de paseos turísticos.
Firstly, I must point out that the houses have a simple but elegant architecture, which blends harmoniously with nature. This city is very clean, and its connection with the river is its most attractive feature, as it runs through it and the amount of activity and traffic from small boats is incredible, whether for transport, sports activities, or tourist trips.
Sencillamente el Rio Tigre es el protagonista de la ciudad, nos fuimos caminando por todo su borde, separado por barandas, es prácticamente todo un muelle que lo rodea, hay espacios para el embarque y desembarque tanto de barcos grandes como botes pequeños, algunos de estos barcos son los “autobuses” que no solo están diseñados para los turistas, sino para la población que vive en islas dentro del Delta y trabajan en la ciudad, los cuales es el medio más rápido y efectivo para movilizarse el día a día.
The Tigre River is simply the star of the city. We walked along its entire length, separated by railings. It is practically surrounded by a pier, There are spaces for large ships and small boats to dock. Some of these boats are “buses” that are not only designed for tourists but also for the people who live on islands within the Delta and work in the city. They are the fastest and most effective means of transportation for day-to-day travel.
Para pasar al otro lado del rio, existe un puente muy lindo, donde puedes observar la ciudad moderna de un lado y el esplendor del rio del otro.
To cross to the other side of the river, there is a beautiful bridge where you can see the modern city on one side and the splendor of the river on the other.
Y al estilo parisino, nos encontramos con un tramo de las barandas con candados en forma de corazón que muchos dejan colgados con sus iniciales, a diferencia de Paris, estos tienen colores llamativos y por su forma más románticos acorde al lugar.
And in true Parisian style, we find a section of railings covered with heart-shaped padlocks that many people leave hanging with their initials. Unlike in Paris, these are brightly colored and, thanks to their shape, more romantic and in keeping with the location.
Una vez cruzado el puente, mayor es la cantidad de turistas, restaurantes, una vegetación impecable con el hermoso árbol característico de Buenos Aires por su color lila que armoniza las calles de la ciudad, llamado Jacarandá.
Once you cross the bridge, there are more tourists, restaurants, and impeccable vegetation with the beautiful tree characteristic of Buenos Aires for its lilac color that harmonizes the streets of the city, called Jacaranda.
Como la diversión no se detiene, en plena vereda nos encontramos con algunas máquinas de hacer ejercicios y nos provocó ejercitarnos un rato para ganar más energía y aprovechar este paseo al máximo, siempre acompañados del paisaje y el rio que no nos abandona.
As the fun never stops, we came across some exercise machines in the middle of the trail, which tempted us to work out for a while to gain more energy and make the most of this walk, always accompanied by the landscape and the river that never leaves us.
Esta fue una linda experiencia donde pudimos conocer un poco más de Tigre y con ansias de volver y caminar nuevamente sus bellas calles.
This was a wonderful experience where we got to know Tigre a little better, and we can't wait to return and walk its beautiful streets again.
