Hello everyone. On this wonderful occasion, I am back with all of you in this beloved community. While looking through my gallery, I came across some remaining photos that caught my eye, prompting me to share these experiences with you once again. This time, I want to share moments from a visit to a beach in Aceh that had been hit by flooding; although I may have shared this before, I found a few more photos capturing the scene. These pictures were taken several months ago. The beach was once known for its cleanliness, but this is what it looked like after the disaster struck. I managed to capture images of tree branches piled up along the shoreline, making the area look very messy.

Along the shoreline, I spotted several boats—some beached on the white sand and others partially submerged in the water—looking disheveled and abandoned. There were about four boats parked there; they appeared to be out of service, perhaps due to seasonal issues, and had been left on the beach. Despite being battered by the water, they remained standing on the shore. I noticed unique paintings on the wooden hulls—images that caught my eye and prompted me to take photos—even though the area was cluttered with waterborne tree branches and debris, such as paper scraps, littering the beautiful sand. The weather was poor during my visit—overcast and gloomy—and although I tried my best to capture clear images, the resulting photos reflect those conditions.

I spent about an hour exploring the beach to take in the atmosphere. I noticed a row of sturdy trees along the shoreline, with a path running beneath them, so I walked over to capture some photos of these lush, vibrant trees. I didn't know their specific name—whether they grew naturally or were planted—but they really caught my eye; they towered high, and their spreading branches offered a wonderfully cool, comfortable shade. I also noticed roots winding across the ground. I continued strolling along the sand, observing the beauty that remained despite the natural disaster that had struck the area a few months earlier.

Afterward, I headed to the water's edge to take in the atmosphere of the beach. I wanted to experience and witness a breathtaking sight—the vast expanse of the sea stretching out before me. Although the white sand was marred by some debris that made it look dirty, the open sea itself appeared pristine, completely untouched by the refuse scattered along the shore. I captured a few photos of the scene.

My friends, those are some of my cherished moments and experiences from visits to a place I used to frequent—back when it was known for its cleanliness, and later when I returned to find it dirty and marred by misfortune. I haven't been back since, so I’m not sure if the locals have cleaned it up yet. I truly hope it gets cleaned up soon, as so many visitors come in the late afternoon to enjoy the beach atmosphere there. Those are my recollections of the place; thank you for taking the time to read my short story. The photo is entirely my own. Alright everyone, thanks, and see you in my next post.
