On this delightful occasion, I am returning to this beloved community to share some experiences and brief stories from my vacation to the city of Banda Aceh. I visited several locations there and gathered many memorable experiences along the way. Today, I would like to talk about the first place I visited in the city: a mosque. I spent time exploring its beautiful gardens, where a variety of flowers were planted and thriving in the fresh air. Before entering the garden area, I had to pass through the gate and park my motorcycle outside. Upon arrival, I immediately took some photos from the outside—even while still approaching—because the beauty within was already clearly visible. I parked my motorcycle in the outer area, ready to fully enjoy the atmosphere and scenery inside the mosque grounds.

The park surrounding the mosque is vast—spanning approximately 20 hectares—with the mosque standing proudly at its center. It features five black domes and white pillars that radiate a beautiful glow when viewed from a distance. After parking my motorcycle outside, I entered the park area; it was impeccably clean, featuring golden-hued grass and various flowering plants scattered throughout. I saw many people enjoying the atmosphere while sitting on the paved areas provided within the park. I took the opportunity to capture several photos of the scenery—the golden-toned grounds accented by lovely flowers, as well as other unique architectural features that I felt were worth documenting to share with all of you.

I was truly struck by the beauty of the setting: a magnificent, stunning mosque surrounded by a lovely park and other unique architectural elements.

My friend and I spent some time enjoying the atmosphere around the mosque gardens. We heard from people there about an underground passageway next to the mosque—a tunnel described as both very long and beautiful—so we headed straight for it. We descended a rather long flight of stairs; upon reaching the bottom, I found a spacious restroom provided by the mosque—uniquely located underground. From there, I walked through long corridors illuminated by beautiful, warm yellow lights. I walked across smooth, comfortable tiling as the lights guided our path, and I took the opportunity to capture the beauty of the sights I saw in that underground passage.

To make a long story short, after passing through that long corridor, I didn't get a chance to take photos of the lower area because I needed to freshen up; I headed straight to the restroom to wash my face and clean myself up, doing what was necessary to feel refreshed and ready for the day ahead. I spent the night in the area around the mosque—a spot that looked incredibly clean, with beautiful, expansive tiled flooring—sleeping in the space provided there. Before long, morning arrived; I managed to snap a few photos just as the first rays of sunlight appeared. The early morning air was quite cold, and the sky looked stunning, displaying a blend of colors that captivated me and prompted me to take more pictures.
