Am Freitag, den 2. 1. 26, hatten wir das große Glück, dass Folgendes zusammenkam: Wir waren in Einruhr, es hat geschneit, und es war Vollmond. | My wife Annette and I treated ourselves to a little break again in our holiday apartment. Es war schon 16 Uhr und es konnte bald dunkel werden. Wir hatten diesmal keine Taschenlampe dabei, also beeilten wir uns. | Near Dreiborn, we had already covered 8 km and another 8 km lay ahead. | Ein faszinierendes Farbenspiel bot sich am Himmel – weiße Wolken und hellblauer Himmel im Süden, Dumkelgrau bis tiefblaue schwere Wolken im Norden und gelblich, rötlich bis rosafarben Zirren und Stratuswolken über uns. Die Fotos können das nur ansatzweise wiedergeben. Ich war total fasziniert und freute mich wie ein Kind, so etwas hautnah zu erleben. (Ich liebe Wolken!) | A fascinating play of colors appeared in the sky – white, light blue, deep blue, yellowish, reddish to pink. The pictures can only partly convey it. I was completely fascinated and as happy as a child to experience this in person. (I love clouds!) |

| Aber wir waren nicht in Gefahr. Wir näherten uns schon Erkensruhr, und die Wege waren gut erkennbar. Der Schauer dauerte ca. 30 Minuten und brachte etwa 4 cm Neuschnee. Erkensruhr leuchtete noch im weihnachtlichen Glanz. | But we were never in danger. We were already approaching Erkensruhr, and the paths were still clear. The snow shower lasted about 30 minutes and brought around 4 cm of fresh snow. Erkensruhr shone in its Christmas lights. |
