Unwinding @ Food Camp in Mactan New Town

Good day Bayani hivers !

Last May 16,2026 , me and my wife were looking for foods to satisfy our craving. We got information from friends that there is already a food camp there with in Mactan New Town. So We went there just to unwind also and find foods we want to eat . It was a very bustling place were most of the residents there and hotel employees of the town went there to unwind and have their dinner. The food camp is open at 7 pm onward with live band performing . So it was really a jolly place to refresh and to unwind ourselves.

Teenagers mostly went to the place just to enjoy the night specially there was a live performance of the band . New Town is the place to enjoy, relax, refresh and energize with family or friends. This is one of the most happy places of Barangay Mactan now in which you can revive yourself from being stress . Near the Mactan New Town , is the Sto Niño Parish Church in which we can pray before going to the new town . You can also visit the historic place near the town which is the Mactan Shrine where the Battle of Mactan happened long time ago.

At the food camp, I chose the dessert that I tripped , the lettuce salad . It has a taste like savory, salty and something has mild sweetness and very crunchy when you crunched it which was very good to the throat. After meal I often thinking about this salad which is very creamy to satisfy my craving .

My wife chose this dessert that something spicy and salty with cabbage. It tastes also good and she liked it very much . I dont really know the name of this dessert . Maybe you tried it already

Some other foods in the food camp were "lechon baboy" or roast pig, grilled pork, pork blood stew,paklay and many others .
On the other side there were varieties of juices like lemon , mango, melon , dragon fruit , etcetera.

On the other side of the area , they had prepared stage for live band performance. It was really an exciting night for everyone to unwind . While eating we were entertained with classical songs of the band .
