Wednesday walk to Bakarlaka Peak

My Wednesday walk today is to Bakarlaka Peak.

In the afternoon, my family and I drove to the foot of the peak. We parked the car and headed up.

It was no longer as hot as earlier in the day, but it was full of mosquitoes and midges.

There were many wild flowers along the way.

We saw thyme, yarrow and rock rose.

When we climbed to the top, the view was uniquely beautiful and we could see the entire Burgas Bay and the surrounding area.

The peak is 376.2 m high and is my favorite destination close to my homecity.

On the way back, the approaching sunset made the views even more beautiful.
