My Wednesday walk today takes place at the start of the so-called "Devil’s Trail" in the Rhodope Mountains.
It begins in the village of Borino, where an eye-catching gateway marks the start of the trail.

Along the way, with my friends we encountered some beautiful horses.

We enjoy beautiful plants and bushes overflowing with rose hips and hawthorn berries.

It was so beautiful around the Chatak Dere River.

We crossed a small wooden bridge, and near it stands the Tree of Luck. Many napkins with wishes for health and good luck were tied to its branches.

Along the trail, there are several gazebos, numerous signposts, a drinking fountain, and a wooden shelter.

And this is the junction where the most interesting part of the trail begins, and everyone can choose whether to take the Small or the Large Loop.
