[ENG/ESP] A Wednesday filled with excursions, completed tasks, and beautiful scenery
Dear #wednesdaywalk community, here I am, just like every week, to share my day’s journey with you. I’m so grateful for this beautiful space created by our friend @tattoodjay, which I’m so passionate about, because it gives me the chance to show you my journeys, enjoy the scenery I encounter along the way, and, at the same time, learn about the experiences of other friends in this wonderful community.
Before I start telling you about today’s outing, I want to wish you all a wonderful Wednesday, full of positive energy, joy, and lots of productive activities.
This Wednesday, we had several tasks we needed to complete. We’d planned and organized our itinerary the night before, making sure to use our time wisely and visit each place without having to rush. Fortunately, our planning worked out perfectly, and we were able to accomplish everything we’d set out to do.
We left home quite early, as our day had three main objectives: to pick up some activated coconut shell charcoal that we needed for filters, to carry out our chlorination and disinfection routine at the Sunsol Unik Hotel, and, finally, to pick up a package via Zoom that had been sent for our son.
Our first stop was the city, where we needed to pick up the activated charcoal. Since the weather was beautiful and the sun had been shining since early in the morning, I couldn’t pass up the chance to show you some of the beautiful landscapes that nature has given us on our beloved Margarita Island.
Querida comunidad de #wednesdaywalk, aquí estoy, como cada semana, para compartir con ustedes mi recorrido de este día. Estoy muy agradecida por este hermoso espacio creado por nuestro amigo @tattoodjay, que tanto me apasiona, porque me brinda la oportunidad de mostrarles mis recorridos, disfrutar de los paisajes que encuentro en el camino y, al mismo tiempo, conocer las experiencias de otros amigos de esta maravillosa comunidad.
Antes de comenzar a contarles mi recorrido de hoy, quiero desearles un miércoles maravilloso, lleno de buenas energías, alegrías y muchas actividades productivas.
Este miércoles teníamos varias tareas pendientes que debíamos cumplir. Desde la noche anterior habíamos planificado y organizado nuestro recorrido, procurando aprovechar bien el tiempo y visitar cada lugar sin necesidad de andar apresurados. Afortunadamente, nuestra planificación funcionó de maravilla y pudimos cumplir con todo lo que teníamos previsto.
Salimos bastante temprano de casa, pues nuestra jornada tenía tres objetivos principales, buscar unas cargas de carbón activado de concha de coco que necesitábamos para unos filtros, realizar nuestra rutina de cloración y desinfección en el hotel Sunsol Unik y, finalmente, retirar en Zoom una encomienda que habían enviado para nuestro hijo.
Nuestro primer destino fue la ciudad, donde debíamos conseguir el carbón activado. Como el clima estaba radiante y el sol nos acompañaba desde temprano, no podía dejar pasar la oportunidad de mostrarles algunos de los hermosos paisajes que nos regala la naturaleza de nuestra querida Isla de Margarita.
We always try to leave early enough to carry out our activities at a leisurely pace, while still enjoying what we find around us. Living on a tropical island has that special charm; every outing can become an opportunity to take in urban landscapes, natural settings, and those little details that often go unnoticed amid the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Siempre procuramos salir con suficiente tiempo para realizar nuestras actividades con tranquilidad, sin dejar de disfrutar lo que encontramos a nuestro alrededor. Vivir en una isla tropical tiene ese encanto especial; cada recorrido puede convertirse en una oportunidad para contemplar paisajes urbanos, espacios naturales y esos pequeños detalles que muchas veces pasan desapercibidos en medio de las ocupaciones diarias.
After visiting several places in search of the material, we finally found coconut shell activated charcoal at one of the stores in the Terranova shopping center, located in the city of Porlamar. Once we verified that they had the product we use for our filters, we loaded it up and continued on our way.
Después de visitar varios lugares en busca del material, finalmente conseguimos el carbón activado de concha de coco en uno de los locales del centro comercial Terranova, ubicado en la ciudad de Porlamar. Una vez que verificamos que tenían el producto que utilizamos para nuestros filtros, lo cargamos y continuamos nuestro recorrido.
Our next stop was the Sunsol Unik Hotel, where we performed the necessary chlorination and disinfection work. As always, we followed our standard work routine, verifying the necessary parameters to ensure proper service. The day ended successfully, and both parties were satisfied—they for receiving quality service, and we for responsibly carrying out our work.
Nuestra siguiente parada fue el hotel Sunsol Unik, donde realizamos los trabajos correspondientes a la cloración y desinfección. Como siempre, cumplimos con nuestra rutina de trabajo, verificando los parámetros necesarios para garantizar un servicio adecuado. La jornada terminó satisfactoriamente y ambas partes quedamos complacidas; ellos por recibir un servicio de calidad y nosotros por cumplir responsablemente con nuestro trabajo.
With our work done, we headed to the Sambil shopping center, where Zoom’s office is located. There, we picked up our son’s package without any problems.
Then we headed back home. My husband was especially excited because he wanted to help our son install his UPS—a device that will keep his computer running during power outages while he’s working.
Con las actividades laborales terminadas, nos dirigimos al centro comercial Sambil, donde se encuentra la oficina de Zoom. Allí retiramos sin inconvenientes la encomienda de nuestro hijo.
Después emprendimos el regreso a casa. Mi esposo estaba especialmente emocionado porque quería ayudar a nuestro hijo a instalar su inversor, un equipo que le permitirá mantener funcionando su computadora cuando se produzcan interrupciones en el servicio eléctrico mientras trabaja.
And that’s how our Wednesday ended: with our tasks completed, beautiful scenery etched in our memories, and the satisfaction of having been able to help our son as well. Without a doubt, it was a day full of emotions and wonderful moments.
