[ENG/ESP] A Wednesday filled with work, travel, and island landscapes.
Happy Wednesday! Today, I'm here to share my journey with you, as I do every week, thanks to the initiative of @tattoodjay.
The day started very early because our work itinerary included some visits that were a little far away, and we had to organize ourselves calmly to accomplish everything we had planned.
The weather was beautiful in the morning, something that fascinates me and I always mention, because it allows me to better appreciate the island landscapes and take some pictures to show you. The sun was shining brightly and reflecting beautifully on the landscapes, although it was a little hot, so my husband didn't miss the opportunity to buy himself an ice cream cone early on. I preferred not to eat anything because we had had a very good breakfast and I don't like to overeat so early in the morning.
Feliz miércoles, hoy vengo a compartirles mi recorrido como cada semana gracias a la iniciativa de @tattoodjay.
Este día comenzó bien temprano porque nuestro recorrido de trabajo tenía unas visitas un poco distantes y debíamos organizarnos con calma para cumplir con todo lo planificado.
El clima amaneció radiante, algo que me fascina y siempre les comento, porque me permite apreciar mejor los paisajes isleños y tomar algunas fotografías para mostrarles. El sol estaba radiante y se reflejaba muy bien en los paisajes, aunque estaba un poco caluroso, por eso mi esposo no perdió la oportunidad de comprarse una paleta de helado desde temprano. Yo preferí no comer nada, porque habíamos desayunado muy bien y no me gusta excederme tan temprano en la mañana.
Between landscapes and conversation, we arrived at our first stop: the Hotel Sunsol Ecoland. There, we had to perform our service on the main reservoir. On this occasion, we were welcomed by the quality manager, a very friendly person who accompanied us throughout the day. Together, we measured and chlorinated until the parameters were at the appropriate levels. We also took the opportunity to check the Australian tank, which will soon need a thorough cleaning, although it is currently under repair.
Entre paisajes y conversación llegamos a nuestra primera parada; el Hotel Sunsol Ecoland. Allí debíamos realizar nuestro servicio en el tranque principal. En esta ocasión nos recibió el gerente de calidad, una persona muy amable que nos acompañó durante la jornada. Juntos fuimos a medir y clorar hasta que los parámetros estuvieran en los niveles adecuados. También aprovechamos para revisar el tanque australiano, que pronto necesitará una limpieza profunda, aunque por ahora se encuentra en reparación.
After finishing our work, we took a short tour of the facilities. I always like to observe the details of each place, because every visit leaves me with a different impression. Ecoland has some very beautiful spots, full of vegetation and spaces that invite you to relax. However, we couldn't stay too long, because we still had work to do at another destination.
Después de terminar con nuestro trabajo hicimos un pequeño recorrido por las instalaciones. Siempre me gusta observar los detalles de cada lugar, porque cada visita me deja una impresión distinta. Ecoland tiene rincones muy bonitos, llenos de vegetación y espacios que invitan al descanso. Sin embargo, no podíamos quedarnos demasiado tiempo, porque aún nos quedaba trabajo por hacer en otro destino.
Our next stop was Sunsol Isla Caribe, where we had to check the water at the bottling plant. As soon as we arrived, we headed straight to the plant to check the water quality and verify that the equipment was working properly. These types of tasks require concentration and care, because they determine whether the bottled water meets the necessary standards.
While we were working, I took the opportunity to observe the activity at the plant. There are always staff busy with different tasks, and I like to see how each person contributes their effort to make sure everything runs smoothly. Behind every service we enjoy as customers, there is a committed team working with dedication.
Nuestra siguiente parada fue el Sunsol Isla Caribe, donde teníamos que revisar el agua de la planta embotelladora. Apenas llegamos, nos dirigimos directamente a la planta para chequear la calidad del agua y verificar el buen funcionamiento de los equipos. Este tipo de tareas requieren concentración y cuidado, porque de ello depende que el agua embotellada cumpla con los estándares necesarios.
Mientras trabajábamos, aproveché para observar el movimiento del lugar. Siempre hay personal ocupado en distintas labores, y me gusta ver cómo cada uno aporta su esfuerzo para que todo funcione correctamente. Detrás de cada servicio que disfrutamos como clientes, hay un equipo comprometido que trabaja con dedicación.
With all of the day's tasks completed, we began our journey home. That feeling of satisfaction from a job well done is something that motivates me week after week. It doesn't matter if the journey is long or if the heat accompanies us throughout the day; in the end, what remains is the peace of mind that comes from having done our job well.
On the way back, we talked about what we had experienced during the day. My husband, always in good spirits, remembered his ice cream from the morning and said it had been the best thing to help him endure the heat. I was satisfied with the photographs I had taken, happy to share them with you so that you can accompany me, even if only through my words and images.
Friends of #wednesdaywalk, I am happy to be able to bring you a little piece of my travels every week. These are moments that, although part of my work routine, also allow me to enjoy the beauty of my surroundings and appreciate the importance of each task. I hope I have conveyed some of the positive energy I feel when fulfilling my responsibilities and at the same time enjoying the landscapes around me.

Con todas las tareas del día cumplidas, emprendimos el regreso a casa. Esa sensación de satisfacción por el deber cumplido es algo que me motiva semana tras semana. No importa si el recorrido es largo o si el calor nos acompaña durante la jornada; al final, lo que queda es la tranquilidad de haber hecho bien nuestro trabajo.
Ya en el camino de vuelta, conversábamos sobre lo vivido en el día. Mi esposo, siempre con buen humor, recordaba su helado de la mañana y decía que había sido el mejor detalle para soportar el calor. Yo quede satisfecha por las fotografías que había tomado, contenta por compartirlas con ustedes para que puedan acompañarme, aunque sea a través de mis palabras e imágenes.
Amigos de #wednesdaywalk, me alegra poder traerles cada semana un pedacito de mis recorridos. Son momentos que, aunque forman parte de mi rutina laboral, también me permiten disfrutar de la belleza de mi entorno y valorar la importancia de cada tarea. Espero que les haya transmitido un poco de esa energía positiva que siento al cumplir con mis responsabilidades y al mismo tiempo disfrutar de los paisajes que me rodean.
