Another week with you all, dear #wednesdaywalk community, and as always, I hope you’re having a wonderful day, filled with peace and good times. It’s already become part of my weekly routine to sit down and tell you about my Wednesday outing—a tradition that began thanks to the lovely initiative of our dear friend @tattoodjay , who encouraged us to share those little snippets of life that make each week special.
This Wednesday started early. Although the cloudy days seem reluctant to leave the island, we had to head out to Sunsol Ecoland, where the routine chlorination and disinfection of the hotel’s main pool was waiting for us. It’s a job that requires consistency and care, and although the weather sometimes gets in the way, we always find a way to fulfill our responsibilities without putting our safety at risk.
We took the Portachuelo route, which is usually safer on rainy days. Simplicio Rodríguez Avenue, when it has rained heavily, is prone to landslides on the hills, and we prefer to avoid any situation that exposes us unnecessarily.

So, as usual, we chose the most reliable route.
We went down through Portachuelo, passed through Santa Ana and part of Tacarigua, enjoying the damp, quiet landscape left behind by the rains, until we reached the hotel, where, as always, we were greeted with kindness and warmth.

We climbed up to the main tank to begin our work. I must admit we were a little worried, because every now and then a light drizzle would fall, making it more difficult to climb the stairs. At times like that, you’re grateful for every firm step and every sure footing. Fortunately, the weather gave us a break; the drizzle let up enough to allow us to work without any complications. That brief respite filled us with satisfaction, as if the sky had decided to cooperate with us for a little while.

Once the work was done, we climbed down from the tank and set off on our way back. We passed by the lagoon, which had a special charm that day. It was surrounded by gray clouds that seemed to rest on the water, creating a serene, almost melancholic landscape—but beautiful in its own way.

We kept walking, and in the distance, the sky was beginning to clear up. A few rays of sunlight were peeking through the clouds—timid but present—as if to announce that the afternoon would end on a brighter note.

We passed through parts of Tacarigua and Santa Ana again until we reached the municipality of Arismendi, from where we finally headed home. It was an easy ride, though at times a little tense because of the persistent drizzle. However, every ride has its own rhythm, its own lessons, and its own beauty, and this Wednesday was no exception.

So, dear friends, I’ll sign off for today. I’ll see you next Wednesday, when I’ll share another one of my journeys with you—another little story about the road, the weather, work, and daily life on this island we love so much.
See you next Wednesday.
Bye.
Chao.

Good thing there's still a safer road to take. Still a day to be thankful for, the sky cooperate with everything..indeed a beautiful Wednesday walk
Sometimes, when the path feels gentler and the sky decides to cooperate, you realize that the day already comes with its own blessing. These little Wednesday walks have something special about them: they restore your peace of mind, remind you that there are still reasons to be grateful, and that the island always knows how to embrace you. Without a doubt, it’s a walk worth cherishing in your memory.🌹🌷🌻🥀🪷💮🪻🏵️💐🌸🌺🍀
The weather was a bit cloudy, the clouds were moving but the view and the atmosphere of the surroundings were very beautiful. Happy days.
Although the sky was a little cloudy and the clouds came and went, the landscape had a serene beauty that made everything feel more special. There are days like that, when the atmosphere feels gentle.🌹🌷🌻🥀🪷💮🪻🏵️💐🌸🌺🍀
