Along the mighty stream after the flood...

The mountains stood as if washed, white mists lay on their tops, below a raging river raged, roaring with a victorious roar, gaining tremendous power...

I left the house and looked at the mountains in the distance. They seemed washed and even more beautiful. Later I understood why: orange rocks, when they get wet, become more brightly colored. Have you ever noticed: a wet, beautiful stone from the sea, when it dries, becomes less bright?

My rental car, also washed, shone a pearly blue, and in the background a clean, rain-washed, orange cat walked.

Yesterday there was a flood in the Antalya region. Cars in the lower areas were half submerged in water... The rain has been falling for more than 2 weeks, and only during short intervals between the rains can you go out to walk, breathe fresh air, and experience the beauty of nature.

We hurried towards the mountains, stopped the car in front of the bridge, near the river. In the distance, the Kuzdere brother - mountains were visible.

In recent months the river had been low in water, the stones were dry, only in the middle there was a shallow current, and small waterfalls here and there. But what was this!? We saw a fascinating, majestic phenomenon!

Recently shallow, today this river was carrying its waters violently and it seemed its power was crazy. The speed of the current was very rapid. The color of the water was brown. I imagined how dangerous it would be to fall into this water. Such a dangerous uncontrollable power was felt here!

We walked along the river for a long time, and listened to this white noise, which seemed to cleanse me of stress, and reset my consciousness. Do you like to fall asleep listening to the sound of rain, or to fall asleep to the sound of a mountain river? This is the greatest relaxation and pleasure for me.

On such rainy days, we begin to appreciate the sun more, simple earthly joys: a walk, clean air... Everything that is inaccessible to us immediately becomes very valuable. I got a lot of joy from walking between the rains, maneuvering between puddles, like in childhood 😊
