There are places where you lose track of time, where everything becomes magical, but you have to experience it to know what it really feels like. It’s a sensation of floating in the air; the time I’m talking about stands still and nothing else exists. That is what it means to be in full contact with nature.

Many say that the colour green soothes the eyes and brings calm, as well as representing health and hope. I believe, and have found, that green, or rather nature itself, is healing; it is as though its energy – the most powerful of all, can be breathed in and felt when you are in contact with it, bringing peace and easing any sorrows you may have.
But what happens to me on walks like the one I’m about to show you is that, whilst in a place so full of vegetation, exploring paths that lead who knows where and simply paying attention to the sounds of birds, water, rustling leaves and even insects flitting by, you sort of forget everything, absolutely everything.

It feels like travelling to another world and forgetting the life you lead, with all its ups and downs, and simply being at one with nature. I explain it this way because that’s how I feel: by disconnecting from reality in this healthy way, the mind switches off and rests, and that rest, which the mind needs from time to time, is exactly what’s needed to regain the energy that day-to-day stress robs us of.
Sometimes my brother says to me, ‘You look like you’ve had too much oxygen,’ and I burst out laughing because it’s true. That disconnection, combined with walking, means that, for a while, time ceases to exist. It seems like a contradiction, but in reality you lose track of time as we know it; you have no idea how many minutes have passed.

That’s why walks by the sea, with their soothing sound, or being surrounded by greenery, like the ones I’m sharing with you today, isolate the mind from the world, and that’s where it finds rest. I always think about just how necessary that is.
I walked for quite a while, to be honest, I don’t know exactly how long, but the important thing is to enjoy the moment, admire all those shades of green, take a deep breath, clear your lungs and feel reborn. That’s the power of nature.

I’ll tell you that I’d been hoping to go on this tour a few days ago with the guest I had staying at my house, but for reasons beyond my control, it wasn’t to be. And I’m really sorry that my cousin wasn’t able to visit the wonderful historic botanical garden on the outskirts of the city, but he was physically unable to do so. I suppose that on a trip we take later on, knowing everything there is to see, we’ll be able to enjoy it even more and in a different way.

I love exploring, walking, wandering and discovering places; it’s something I’m becoming more and more passionate about every day, and in every place I’ve visited there’s still so much left to see, even in this marvellous, vast place, to which I hope to return very soon. When I want to switch off, this is one of my favourite places.
I’m really glad to have shared this Wednesday walk with you all; thank you very much for joining me. Warm regards to you all. See you soon.
Amonet.

Nature makes us calm down in a special way.. My spouse and I sometimes go to the city's greenhouses to relax, and we feel peaceful there.

Good day, dear friend @avdesing.
What you say about how one feels when connecting with nature is very true; time spent close to it unfolds in a different way.
If you manage to achieve that connection—and hold the faith that nature is healing—you can encounter truly inexplicable experiences.
It’s wonderful what you experience during your walks through this enchanting natural setting; being there is like being in paradise itself.
I admire the way you connect with nature. Thank you so much for sharing this walking experience.

Well, as long as you're breathing in plenty of oxygen, do share a little bit of it with the rest of us too. Your reflections are very insightful and always seem to arrive at just the right moment. Thank you. Have a lovely evening.
Si en algo ayudo, bienvenido sea, muchas gracias a vos!
Good evening, @avdeing. It’s no surprise that, while wandering through such places, one loses all sense of time—and space; it looks as though you’re in a tropical setting. Looking at the images, I can certainly understand what you mean about peace and freedom.
Have a good night.
I’ve got a visit planned… soon!!! As I couldn’t go when my cousin visited, I want to go soon!
I think you’re the type of person who enjoys nature and exploring... though I could be wrong, of course.
