A walk among sepia tones is like taking a journey through spaces, landscapes, streets and photographs from another time. A walk in one of the most charming neighbourhoods of the city, but one that seems to be outside it, as if in another world.

A world of browns, yellows, oranges, autumnal colours and full of trees that showcase these beautiful colours, as if they were old photographs that bring back memories, but in this case create memories, of such a beautiful walk, full of the crunch of leaves with every step, memories of a relaxed stroll, admiring everything around me.

It is one of the few places in the city where, in autumn, you can see and feel many leaves in the snow and watch the breeze move them gently. It is like a place outside this city, a magical place.
The neighbourhood is not very wide, but it is long and has very interesting streets that go up and down constantly, as if it were set on hills, which I believe is the case. I had already been there, but only in one of its areas, the west and north. This time the tour was even more beautiful than the previous one, the trees were more present, and the architecture of the houses, villas and buildings was more amazing.

The sun illuminated all those trees, giving me the gift of those sepia tones, which looked like they had been painted by a great artist and reminded me of drawing and painting techniques as well as designs I had done in the past. It was as if I had taken a trip down memory lane.
And the memory that came most clearly to my mind was of a design I made in 2008, when I made the silhouette of a horse appear among the autumn trees in a forest, but you had to look very closely to see it, as if it were made of leaves. I achieved the result thanks to the lights and shadows, creating that horse. It was a wonderful piece of work, one of the best at the time, and I remember the teacher took it as an example to show during an inspection. I was very proud of that work.

And these autumn leaves and the tranquillity of the place brought back memories of that trip, of when I was studying, and it was very pleasant. As I walked, I couldn't help but look up at the trees, but also at the beautiful houses. Everything there is so well maintained, tidy and clean. I never tire of admiring that.

Of course, there are all kinds of neighbourhoods, each with its own particular characteristics. This one in particular is one of my favourites, like many in the eastern part of the city and some in the western part, such as the one near the airport, which is also very beautiful, reminiscent of a white village in Andalusia.
I couldn't help but look at the windows, balconies and beautiful designs, which are different from the rest of the city. Each house or dwelling was more beautiful than the next, and I loved taking pictures of them all, as well as the streets, the perspective they created and the vegetation in the surrounding area.

Many of the houses had seasonal flowers, although most of them were in autumn colours. The design of the entire neighbourhood, both in terms of the layout of the streets with their rows of trees and all the buildings, the ensemble itself, everything was in perfect harmony.

Most of the streets are named after flowers, and even a street that looked like an abandoned river was great to walk along and visit, although I never know where each path will take me, and that mystery is very nice.

I always try to go to places like this at times when there are few people on the streets. I prefer it that way so I can take photographs without people feeling uncomfortable or observed, and I also like the solitude in the photos.

I even discovered a school next to a church, San Vicente de Paul, on a corner in a neighbourhood of villas, with abundant vegetation and more trees inside and outside the houses.

It has been a great walk with trips to the past, sepia-toned memories, lots of vegetation, exquisite architecture and a lot of tranquillity.
Thank you very much for joining me today on this Wednesday walk. Best regards. See you soon.

Besides spring, autumn is my next favorite season. The walk seemed like it would have been very peaceful to me. A good reflective time. I would agree, there is a lot of charm there. I do wish we had some stylish architecture like that around here.
That neighbourhood is one of the richest... most expensive, but it's lovely for a peaceful walk. I love it!!! Thank you very much!!!๐ค
Good morning, dear friend @avdesing.
What a beautiful neighborhood you chose for this walk; I love the style and architecture of the houses, as well as the abundance of nature along the streets.
I can almost feel the crunch of the autumn leaves as I virtually stroll through it.
What a wonderful walking experience.
Have a great day!
It has been an incredible journey. I hope to continue exploring neighbourhoods soon. Thank you!
Good afternoon @avdesing, I didn't see any horses among the ocher and orange colors, maybe it was there, but it was a magnificent and relaxing walk through almost deserted streets.
I hope you are having a great day.
Use your imagination!!! It's in the trees!!!!

Walking is indeed a good feed to our soul to enjoy the simplicity of nature and things that surrounds us
Thank you ver very much!๐ค
A truly special place, and as you say, it retains that autumnal magic in every corner. There's a touch of nostalgia in these images, and that's what you've managed to capture with the solitude and all the yellow and reddish hues of the falling leaves. I love it; right now Caracas looks like this in some areas, it's as if there are seasons here, hahaha, but no, it's the drought that gives us landscapes like this. Thank you so much for sharing, and not only the photos, but also what you write with such passion ๐
It has been wonderful to walk around this place, so many memories and tranquillity. Thank you!
These walks full of memories are perfect.
Perhaps at that moment you were already painting the future in your works.
A hug!
Everything is possible... everything! Thank you!

These shots have beautiful soft light. I like the colour scheme in this neighbourhood that is so cohesive. My images are not showing up at the moment, so I can't show you the ones that I like, but they have a great combination of shadow, light, and colour that work well together. Cool set.
It's true that sometimes the images don't show up, but leave it down there, I might see it. Thank you very much!
