Sorry, friends, but today the weather canceled my walk. The Snow Queen really sent her Grandpa Frost to us. He decided to freeze us. And my daughter got sick, too.
That's why I invite you to take a walk around Beijing on a day when there was snow on the streets. It was December 13, 2025.
The day before, during our walk along the Great Wall, snow began to fall, and it ruined our walk, but this is a separate story that I will tell you next time. By morning, the snow had stopped, the Sun appeared in the sky, and the air temperature began to rise. By all indications, the snow should disappear by evening, but hotel employees have begun to clear the sidewalks and the entrance to the hotel.

It's probably such a game to buy a powerful snowplow and wait for the moment when you can use it for its intended purpose. Ha, this snowplow would come to my house. On Sunday, I measured the height of the snow cover in my yard, and I got about 60 cm. There are still almost 3 months of winter ahead. To clean the area around the house, I use my hands and a scraper with a shovel.
In my city, with such a small amount of snow on the sidewalks, the utilities wouldn't even go outside to remove the snow.

The most popular mode of transportation in Beijing. Of course, there are a lot of cars on the roads, but it turns out that their entry into the city is restricted; this transport will pass everywhere and has no restrictions. In Russia, State Duma deputies decided to restrict the import of imported scooters into the country, and came up with another ban.

Someone even managed to build a snowman. This is the most important entertainment when the first snow falls. But the right snowman should have a carrot nose.

People are walking right and left along the road, and this guy is standing and looking at people. What is he thinking about? What are the thoughts in that head? The guide said that being a military man in China is very prestigious. This means a steady decent income, an apartment, and many girls dream of marrying a military man. You should know that there are more women than men in China.

It probably looks very beautiful in the dark.
During the day, these flowers gain energy, but in the dark, they should glow.

The Christian Church. There are a few of them in Beijing. In the north of the country, there is the city of Harbin, which was a Russian city, the center of the Chinese-Eastern Railway. There are many Orthodox churches in that city.

In 2022, McDonald's left Russia. And in Beijing, we saw familiar signs. Of course, we couldn't pass by without trying the local burgers. It was delicious. Does anyone understand Chinese? The most wonderful thing was that we could pay with a bank card for the purchase of burgers. In China, the main payment method for buying even street food is to use the Alipay app installed on your smartphone.

Пффф! Да разве это снег?😄 Но всё же красивые места.
вот и я говорю - разве снег? Но мы если ехали к стене чуть больше часа, то обратно дорога заняла 3 часа. Пекин встал.
A nice place to visit someday..
