I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1144 - Diesel/Liquidity Pools as a Viable Long-Term Investment Strategy - Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, September 14, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Y'all know my love for diesel/liquidity pools, which seems to grow the longer that I'm swimming in these wondrous pools. I realized soon after arriving on Hive that liquidity pools were a great way to grow assets, and with my recent three-pool experiment with $600 in liquidity, I received quite an excellent education on what the profit potential of certain pools is.

From that experiment, and from almost 4 years of playing in the pools, more and more I've come to see them as a very viable long-term investment, to grow assets over extended periods of time. Depending on asset prices, I presently have somewhere between $500 and $600 in fiat value invested in over 100 assorted pools, and I continue to add liquidity multiple times every day to most of them, so I'm just getting started.

My $600 3-pool experiment showed me that diesel/liquidity pools, even very good ones, were better as a long-term way to grow assets, rather than a way to grow them within short periods of time. This informs how and in which pools that I invest moving forward. Some pools are excellent, but only beyond certain liquidity thresholds, below which they are almost useless for growing assets. Choosing the right pools, with the right amount of liquidity, is what determines profitability.

With this long-term investment strategy in mind, at least my next few external fiat investments will be going into one of three pools, SWAP.HIVE:DEC (the fastest grower), SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.LTC, and SWAP.HIVE:SWAP.BTC, to sit and grow for a good long time. I do of course have other pools in my sights, but those three are where I'll begin.

Soon the fiat value of my assets in diesel/liquidity pools will exceed what it is for the layer-2 token assets in my wallet. I'm guessing that it will take a few more months, but it's almost certain to happen before the end of the year. Pool whale, here I come!

Yesterday, Sunday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, by around 2:15PM, giving my time and attention first to some photography for my posts, and straining and blending kefir. Once both of those were done, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I undertook the task of running a new ethernet line in conduit, from Power Sharing to the spot that used to be Stefano's lab, but which Melekai is now reworking into a hang-out space. Once I had that completed, and after testing the internet connection, I did a few smaller tasks, and some clearing with my machete along the driveway near the Flow House. I stopped a little before sunset, heading to take a shower first, and then to stop by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with that in hand, to make my way back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by a bit after 9PM, and after some asset management, and a scan of my X feed, I went to bed just after 10:45PM. Sadly I woke up around 4AM, and I wasn't really able to sleep after that, even though I tried, so I finally got up around 7:30AM, doing a little more asset management, going to the Landing to make my superfood fire coffee, and then returning to the Flow House to write and publish My 172nd Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: Steady Growth, and 13,700 HP This Week, then to start on this post. It's now just after 12:15PM, so quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, then onto commununity/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
