Sunflower and European stag beetle in my garden

Today I enjoyed a nice day in my garden with nice sunshine and some grass cutting. I have a nice and beautiful sunflower growing in front of my terrace. I love Sunflowers because they always look so friendly and their size is just amazing. I tried to pull out several weed that was growing in front of my terrace but it is a lot of work and so I decided to cut it on monday when I am allowed to take the motor grass cuter again.

For next year I plan to plant a lot more plants in my garden, a lot of useful vegetables for example. My brother has a nice raised bed with a lot of vegetables and I also plan to buy one for next year since it is a lot easier to keep away the slugs that threaten to eat them. On my composter I am already trying to make some nice compost so I have some great soil for next year when I want to plant some vegetable in the raised beds.

I don't cut all of my grass and have a spot with some wildflowers and grass and other plants that I allow to grow helping some birds and insects to find some food when the other grass is cut.
