At the beginning of the year, I like to do a few things which now have become like a ritual for me. When you start liking something that you are doing then you want to continue doing it and then you do not realize when it becomes a habit. Similarly it has happened. I like to make some Temple visits at the beginning of the year. In my religion we have 8 main Fire Temples, spread across in the Mumbai and Surat, which is a city in the Gujarat state. All these Fire Temples are spread out in a distance of 600 kms. So it's a 2 day affair for me whenever I am doing it. I start early morning by 5 a.m. train, and I have 4 stops and multiple train connections to cover these 8 Temples.
It does get very hectic, but then I enjoy it, and it never feels tiring to me. I guess it's the energy of this whole sacred journey that keeps me active and going. At every Temple I spend an hour to pray, which gives me good enough time. I like to do it alone, because then it gives me time and space to do things my way. And the main reason is I like to be in silence as much as possible in this time. If someone is with me then it is natural that we will keep talking, and I do not want to do that.
I missed clicking picture at one of the Temples, but other 7 I did click. There is no way that I can click a picture inside the Temple as photography is strictly prohibited there. And in our religion only people of our faith are allowed to enter the Temple. So it's not like anyone can visit it. There are reasons behind it. Before we enter the Temple we have certains rituals to perform, which people of other faith will not know and hence they cannot enter. There is a lot of controversy also around it but then that's how it is. And because it is not open to everyone, there are very less people visiting at any given time, which also maintains the sanctity of the place and extremely peaceful vibes.

Returning back home after the 2 days journey with divine blessings.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

I think having a silent state of consciousness is of utmost importance in such journeys. Maybe it's because of the sunlight or reading about them being Fire temples but the buildings seem fiery to me, at a glance. Love the architecture too.
The aura of these places are very strong and can be felt even in pictures.
