RE: Crack Mack Update - Day 99

That's what I thought too was over watering. Well, now I'm all intimated again 🀣😳πŸ€ͺ🧐 PH levels. How do you test the soil? I know there's kits for water, so there's one for soil too?
And ummm.. What's optimal?πŸ§πŸ€”πŸ€”

Since your plant is growing outdoors, letting it catch natural rain water or collecting rain water to water with if you have the ability to might be the best practice if you're limited on supplies and knowledge base for pH adjusting. That is likely what I would do if I was growing a cannabis plant outdoors in the woods.

Yes there's so many different types of testing kits. Probes, litmus paper, liquid indicator dyes. It's overwhelming indeed. There's different types of testers for both water and soil and the testers I'm using are pretty basic.

I think my next post should be about pH. I'll delve as deeply into it as I can, because it's a deep topic lol. It would be easier to explain these things with some photos and what not.

What is optimal range also varies depending on the type of soil being used, but general rule of thumb is to pH around 6. A little lower or higher is usually fine but if it goes below 5.5 or above 7 then serious problems start happening.

I don't mind the questions at all βœοΈπŸ€“πŸ”Ž
