Fungi Friday. What hatches from an egg but isn't an animal?
You'll know what I'm talking about just by looking at the first image of this beauty embedded in our beloved mountains, right?
It's a fungus appreciation... this fungus looks a lot like a poisonous one used in Australia to try to kill a whole family by someone unscrupulous. Fortunately, that didn't happen... but this fungus looks too similar to that one, so be careful with these creatures.
Here you see how beautiful the fungus is... from its egg-shaped form to seeing it hatched... wow, priceless. I spent days getting these images for you to enjoy... appreciate the fungus that's not an animal but hatches from an egg.
