Agricultural farm setting will always attract multiple attention of people that passes by and it will also bring out the best farm practices in your farm no matter how mix the crop is. You need to be guided on how to arrange your farm without this it will be proof of effort loss. When you keep on cultivating crops it is good but it needs to be arranged in an orderly manner. I always encourage people to know exactly what they are doing so that it will not be as if it is just a mere Farm practices.

Practicing crop production in any of the town state or country is a very good way of life which also attracts a lot of natural benefits from it. This natural benefits are from the nutrient gotten from the cultivated crops. When you observe that some of what you have planted did not germinate the next thing you do is to replant. It is part of life as well. Replanting it will also shaping your farm accordingly. It will also bring back the Lost effort. I call it lost effort because when you create a time to visit your farm and above all what you have cultivated they did not germinate all around then there is a big problem to be solved.

This Farm is also arranged in mixed cropping system which also allow it to utilize its nutrients without any negative effect on them or on their produce at the end of the farming season. A most fans you see them with three different crops which are MAIZE 🌽🌽 or Millet, then they add cassava to it. On the same piece of land. Then they can also add okra or pepper to the Farm. Or any other crop.

This particular plants are also cultivated on hips and ridges. Which we also make the produce more bigger and massive. That is the advantage of planting on hips and ridges.

You can see that the Maize or Corn are in a very good arrangement. Whenever you are practicing your own farm it must also be in an arranged format. Any form of Farm mistake they are so many consequences for it. First you may observe that there are no seed germination, followed by scanty growth and development of already planted crops and so on.

When you also make use of the hips and ridges it also makes your farm to look clean whenever you clear them from weeds. From the pictures you can see that there are more space and clear vision of cultivated crops. Those are some of the advantages of using this planting medium using hips and ridges. It may look extremely difficult because before you engage yourself in this activity or you hire labor. And pay for them it may cost more.

Find the MAIZE reached with maturity stage the cassava will be left alone.

Sometimes you can make your hips and ridges before the rain fall so heavily so that it will not really affect the top layer of the soil. You need to schedule your farm activity. You may also make the hips and ridges then come later to plant your seed or them.

For every reason I will always encourage people to go for the mixed cropping system. Personally I have practiced it and up to this present time I still use it. Because it is profitable and it does not waste agricultural Farmland.
