Natural, Free, Safe, No Harmful Chemicals Egg Shell Garden Fertilizer.

Today I made some egg shell fertilizer for my garden. This is my first time making the egg shell fertilizer powder, even though I have heard about it from so many people, including my mom, for so many years.

Egg Shell Powder Fertilizer Benefits

• Reduce acidity in soil
• Rich in Calcium Carbonate
• Contains minerals like magnesium and potassium which help with the growth of plants
• Discourage blossom-end rot
• Control pests

There are 2 different ways you can prepare egg shell fertilizers.

1. Blending it to a powder form
2. Adding the egg shells into a pot of boiling water and letting the shell sit there overnight, which will form a tea that you can water the plants with

How to prepare the egg shell powder

I took all the inside skin layer odd the egg shell and then I washed the egg shells.

I let the shells dry.

Once the egg shells were dry, I put them in my blender since I don't have a grinder, but will need to get one because it is pretty hard to grind them in a blender, but that was the only option I had.

The blender did a pretty good job, even though it did leave few bigger pieces of the egg shell, but majority of it turned to a nice powder.

Right away I went outside and applied the natural egg shell fertilizer powder on all of my planters, which I don't have many of, but will need to get more, since I will need to transplant few of my cucombers and tomatoes.

I applied the fertilizer on my tomatoe, cucomber, basil and melon planters.
