For many, I know that picking a few vegetables or produce from their garden means nothing, but for me, it means a lot. Today I woke up, went to the garden, and my eggplant plants had these three vegetables for me today.

When I went to feed my quails, they greeted me with two eggs. This is not much, but if we add up the produce every day, I have a large amount of fresh eggplant. The same goes for the quail eggs.

Today I was able to prune my lemon trees. I can't do it all in one day; my body can't take it, but I enjoy being in the garden so much that sometimes I overdo it. There are 10 lemon trees. I cut the branches that grew straight up and left only three branches that grow to the sides.

I transplanted two pepper seedlings, laid the tomato plant down, and left it upright so that it could continue to grow and thicken its stem. In addition to adding a new substrate, I added a little more worm humus.

My pumpkin plant is growing very well. I think it's growing very fast; it has spread across the garden floor, and in some places it has even grown over my spinach plants. The pumpkin is flowering. I don't have much experience with this plant; I always let it do its thing in its own time. I don't know if I should remove its first flowers or cut it back. Over time, I can harvest two or three pumpkins without much effort.

Many spinach plants are sprouting. The last large plants have already dried up, and these are their successors. With such a good substrate, the leaves of these plants grow enormously.

The basil plants have also received their dose of new substrate. They will renew their leaves and become large and fragrant every time I water them.

These are my bags of substrate for sale. My local customers like how their plants thrive with my prepared substrate.

My plants have been infested with aphids. So far, I have seen them on my flowering plants and some fruit trees, such as pomegranate and guava. I have started spraying them with my homemade pesticide. A friend recommended that I make a mixture with products found in the kitchen, but it never worked until now. I have added baking soda and vinegar to my pesticide, and now I am getting rid of them. Of course, I spray more than once a week.

See you soon in the garden.

Great produce. Reminds of okra plants we had during my childhood, and producing almost half-a kilo ladies-finger once.
