Dhanaulti feels like a quiet escape tucked away in the forests of Uttarakhand, far from the rush of crowded hill stations. Surrounded by tall deodar and pine trees, the little mountain town is less about ticking places off a list and more about slowing down and enjoying the journey.

The roads winding through the hills reveal beautiful views at every turn mist drifting between the trees, distant Himalayan peaks appearing through the clouds, and small villages scattered across the slopes. There is something peaceful about simply driving through Dhanaulti, stopping whenever a view catches your eye, and letting the mountains set the pace.

A walk through the forest is perhaps the best way to experience the place.
