Nature’s Wonder: Visiting the World’s Smallest Volcano

‎Another day, another adventure! ✨

‎My sister and her friends are back at it again...

‎Exploring the beautiful spots in our country.

‎This time, their journey took them to one of the most iconic landmarks we have... the majestic Taal Volcano and Taal Lake.

‎Located in Batangas, this is one of the most famous spots in Southern Luzon.

‎It is known as the smallest volcano in the world... and it is really amazing because it is like a volcano inside an islet, inside a lake, inside a crater, inside another volcano! 😳

‎Also, Taal Lake is actually inside a national park.

‎So, the best and most common view is seen from up north... where my sister and her friends went to see the view!

‎They visited People's Park in the Sky.

‎It is located on top of Mount Gonzales and mixes beautiful nature with interesting history.

‎From up there, you can see the whole Taal Volcano and the green landscape.

‎It is really perfect for people who love nature and want to take great photos!

‎The scenery was absolutely stunning, even though it was a typical warm day here in the Philippines.

‎Even if some parts of the park look a bit old, the fresh wind and quiet atmosphere make it a perfect place to chill. There are also small shops where you can buy food and souvenirs, which gives it a nice local touch.

‎To enjoy it fully, it is better to visit when the sky is clear so you can see everything clearly.

‎There was a bit of traffic and some walking involved, but it was totally worth it because the view is so nice!

‎Cars cannot go inside, so they had to walk for about 10 minutes on a sloping road.

‎The entrance fee is only 50 pesos/$0.82 per person.

‎After that... You'll get a stunning view all around you. You will feel the rich history and culture while enjoying the scenery.

‎So, it is definitely a place you shouldn't miss if you are visiting or near Manila! 💙

‎Until my next travel story...

Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸

Yes.. And based on Google it's on January 12, 2020. It's a major explosive eruption causing significant damage in the region.
