Another day, another adventure! ✨
My sister and her friends are back at it again...
Exploring the beautiful spots in our country.
This time, their journey took them to one of the most iconic landmarks we have... the majestic Taal Volcano and Taal Lake.

Located in Batangas, this is one of the most famous spots in Southern Luzon.
It is known as the smallest volcano in the world... and it is really amazing because it is like a volcano inside an islet, inside a lake, inside a crater, inside another volcano! 😳
Also, Taal Lake is actually inside a national park.
So, the best and most common view is seen from up north... where my sister and her friends went to see the view!

They visited People's Park in the Sky.
It is located on top of Mount Gonzales and mixes beautiful nature with interesting history.
From up there, you can see the whole Taal Volcano and the green landscape.

It is really perfect for people who love nature and want to take great photos!
The scenery was absolutely stunning, even though it was a typical warm day here in the Philippines.
Even if some parts of the park look a bit old, the fresh wind and quiet atmosphere make it a perfect place to chill. There are also small shops where you can buy food and souvenirs, which gives it a nice local touch.

To enjoy it fully, it is better to visit when the sky is clear so you can see everything clearly.
There was a bit of traffic and some walking involved, but it was totally worth it because the view is so nice!
Cars cannot go inside, so they had to walk for about 10 minutes on a sloping road.

The entrance fee is only 50 pesos/$0.82 per person.

After that... You'll get a stunning view all around you. You will feel the rich history and culture while enjoying the scenery.
So, it is definitely a place you shouldn't miss if you are visiting or near Manila! 💙
Until my next travel story...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
All photos are from my sister, shared with permission.

The cool mountain breeze is always the best reward after a hike. It’s clear you had a very relaxing and special day.
So true. 🌻 It's actually my sister who had a nice day, as she was the one in there. Hihi
Did it erupt a few years ago?
Yes.. And based on Google it's on January 12, 2020. It's a major explosive eruption causing significant damage in the region.
That looks like a great place to visit!
Sending you some Ecency love!
Cheers!
