Perdido en los bosques de Montana, encontrado a mí mismo / Lost in the Forests of Montana, Found Myself [SPA/ENG]

Apenas bajé del auto, el aire frío y puro me llenó los pulmones como si estuviera respirando por primera vez. Frente a mí, un bosque infinito de pinos se abría paso entre montañas nevadas y un lago quieto que reflejaba el cielo como un espejo.

Caminé sin apuro por los senderos de tierra, escuchando solo el crujir de las hojas bajo mis botas y el viento moviendo las copas de los árboles. No había bocinas, ni edificios, ni ruido… solo naturaleza en estado puro.

Cada paso se sentía distinto, más liviano. Como si Montana te obligara a frenar, a mirar alrededor, a entender que no todo es correr.

Me quedé un rato largo contemplando las montañas, pensando en lo lejos que estaba de casa y, al mismo tiempo, en lo conectado que me sentía con todo.

Ese día no solo viajé a otro lugar.
Viajé hacia adentro.

Y entre bosques, lagos y cielos eternos, entendí por qué algunos destinos no se visitan… se viven.

As soon as I stepped out of the car, the cold, crisp air filled my lungs like I was breathing for the first time. In front of me, an endless pine forest stretched toward snow-capped mountains and a calm lake that mirrored the sky.

I walked slowly along the dirt trails, hearing nothing but leaves crunching under my boots and the wind moving through the trees. No traffic, no buildings, no noise… just pure nature.

Every step felt lighter. As if Montana forces you to slow down, to look around, to remember that life isn’t always about rushing.

I stood there for a long time, staring at the mountains, thinking about how far I was from home and yet how connected I felt to everything.

That day, I didn’t just travel somewhere new.
I traveled inward.

And among forests, lakes, and endless skies, I understood why some places aren’t just visited… they’re lived.
