Poland is currently covered in a winter aura. Warsaw, our capital, doesn't look as impressive as our mountains, but its public parks are beautiful, covered with blanket of snow.
Recently, I went for a walk, and I took several pictures. The three of them I present to you now, show the beauty of the urban winter.

For Polish people such views are something normal. But for many foreigners living in my city our winter is stunning. During the winter many Arabs, Indians, Turks, Asians, Latinos, and other people who migrated to Warsaw from much warmer parts of the world are enjoying snow, building snowmen etc.
Recently, I had a nice conversation with an Indian couple. They were building a snowman together, enjoying it like small kids. They told me that it was their first experience with snow - they have been living here just for few months now, so it's their first winter in Poland.
I personally hate low temperatures we have now (-15°C last night!), but I like this white blanket of snow.
