Let it snow . . .

Yesterday morning there was a little bit of snow on the streets
hardly enough to show on a photo .

1 ) as you can see the snow is already melting here

But this morning we got some more serious snowfall .
And while i'm writing this post it is still snowing outside , i hope that i will be able to make more snow photos soon .

3 ) But for now i have to do it from the balcony while waiting for package delivery.

Well the crocusses and dafodils are starting to show already .

5 )And that is one of my Christmas presents i got last Christmas .
A wireless plant meter conected to my Home Assistant server, yes i have more then just a Hive Witness server in this house . It registers moister, lux, humidity tempertures and batterystatus.
will show more of that at the end of the post .

6 )this planter is more coverd with snow but the bulbs will survive

8 ) it started to snow a bit faster making the visability in the distance not really great .

9 )even when you zoom in the visability is poor.

10 )wonder what it will look like tomorrow since the forecats mentioned it will keep snowing.

11 )The neighbours kids were already outside early today playing with snow.

12 )But the rest of the street seems to stay inside for now.

13 )You can even hardly see the church when you zoom in , i used to be able to see the clock and read the time but that won't work today.

14 ) These are the results i get from from that Zigbee plant meter shown in photo nr 5 .

to be more specific balkon-links = Balcony-Left , if this works as it should i will order more of these for the other planters on the balcony .

The Ilumination / lux metering is something i will use to trigger my sunscreens in my Home assistant , I've tried it before with the timing of sunrise and sunset , but that wasn't really bulletproof when it started to rain or became cloudy .

So now with these plant meters i could use the Lux metering instead to trigger the sunscreens to go down.

I'm still thinking about connecting my Hive witness server to the Home Assistant with details like Temperture , cpu ussage , network down allert , last block , last price update , UPS status , SSD status , pending updates , etc etc , but i will need to dig in to specifics .

Like i already have for my DSM7 Synology NAS and my Adguard home DNS
