#Monomad Challenge // A Nighttime Stroll / Un Paseo Nocturno

Nighttime has always been one of my favorite times of day, since when the sun goes down, temperatures drop, the pace of life changes, and energies flow differently. That’s how these walks become idyllic moments, where it feels as though we’re reconnecting with ourselves, always feeling nature, yet with the certainty that we’re walking through spaces shaped by human hands.

La noche siempre ha sido uno de mis momentos favoritos, puesto que cuando cae el sol las temperaturas bajan, el ritmo de vida cambia y las energías fluyen de manera distinta. Es así como estos paseos se convierten en momentos idílicos, en donde pareciera que nos estamos reencontrando con nosotros mismos, siempre sintiendo la naturaleza, pero con la convicción de que estamos caminando por espacios domados por el hombre.

High in the mountains of Caracas, there is a place where we can literally touch the sky. Here, towering trees stand amidst a dense mist, shops buzz with the rhythm of tourism, and the city’s hustle and bustle seems to fade into the background. It is along these trails that I captured images that strike me as profound—where we can observe a perfect coexistence and, at the same time, discover fascinating stories.

Sobre las montañas de Caracas existe un lugar en donde literalmente podemos tocar el cielo. Acá los grandes árboles se discurren entre una densa neblina, los locales comerciales vibran al ritmo del turismo y el bullicio de la ciudad parece quedar en el olvido. Es sobre estos senderos en donde capturé imágenes que me parecen profundas, en donde podemos observar una coexistencia perfecta y en donde al mismo tiempo descubrimos historias interesantes.

For a moment, we might think we’re strolling through some part of the Old World, but thanks to nature’s whims, we find ourselves in the very heart of the Caribbean, a tropical land that dresses up every night to welcome the cold and the mist.

Por un momento pudiéramos pensar que estamos paseando por algún lugar del viejo continente, pero gracias a las curiosidades de la naturaleza, nos encontramos en el pleno corazón del Caribe, una tierra tropical que se viste de gala cada noche para recibir al frío y la neblina.

Es genial disfrutar de espacios recreativos en donde la tranquilidad se nos presenta de una manera tan hermosa, en donde no existen problemas o distinciones y en donde podemos seguir nuestros pasos sin el apuro o el estrés que marcan la pauta de la vía urbana. Es cubierta aquí la oportunidad perfecta para llevarme unas lindas imágenes de recuerdo, en las cuales no solo se captan momentos inéditos, sino que al mismo tiempo esconden los recuerdos personales de un paseo que fue realmente mágico.
