Frames of History

(edited)

Two shots — two places separated by hundreds of kilometers, yet connected by the same difficult era.

The first shows windows that lost their glass long ago. The frames remain, but there is no life left — only traces of slow decay. The second is a narrow, opaque window of clouded glass blocks. It was never meant for looking out.

Different buildings, different stories. But both belong to a time when the space around you was defined not by choice, but by the will of others.

Villa de Vecchi, also known as the Mussolini Villa — Rhodes, Greece
