The first shows windows that lost their glass long ago. The frames remain, but there is no life left — only traces of slow decay. The second is a narrow, opaque window of clouded glass blocks. It was never meant for looking out.
Different buildings, different stories. But both belong to a time when the space around you was defined not by choice, but by the will of others.
