My Favorite Plants: My Colorful Fittonia Collection

Hello, my dear Hivers! 💞

I want to share my favorite plants in our garden. The Fittonia plants. I love them because they are easy to care for, grow fast, and can multiply easily. I can also sell them to people who need ornamental plants for landscaping.

I think I became a plantita because I grew up around plants and farming. Since I was young, I was already exposed to gardening. I learned to appreciate plants and enjoy taking care of them.

Let me share a funny secret from my childhood. Every morning, I was the one who emptied our chamber pot or we called arinola. Sometimes, I used its contents for our plants. That was one of my little gardening secrets! I know it sounds funny, but that was part of my childhood. Of course, plants also need good soil, enough water, and proper sunlight to grow healthy.

My Fittonia collection started with only one plant. My mother had a Fittonia, and I was amazed by its small but beautiful leaves. Even though it was a small plant, its colorful patterns caught my attention. That was when I started collecting more.

Now, I have around 10 varieties of Fittonia in my garden. Some have pink leaves, while others have red and white patterns. I love looking at them because each variety has its own beauty.

Sometimes, they grow and spread around the garden like grass. But because of their different colors, they make the place look more beautiful. I enjoy watching new leaves grow, and I feel happy whenever my plants look healthy.

I also propagate my Fittonia because many people order ornamental plants for landscaping. I am happy that my hobby can also help me earn money. Instead of keeping all my plants, I can share them with other plant lovers.

For me, gardening is not only a hobby. It is something I learned to love since childhood. I started with one Fittonia, and now I have 10 varieties. I am excited to grow my collection even more!
