Travelling without leaving anything behind means making an impression on the place we stay in while in our destination city. Since I prefer backpacking, I usually look for affordable and comfortable accommodation. My destination city is Purwokerto, a small, peaceful city with very orderly and organised traffic.

However, another thing that impressed me was the low cost of living in the city. There is still plenty of cheap food, and public transport is very easy to use. While scrolling through an app to find accommodation, I found one that was quite affordable and easily accessible. It was close to the town square and very close to a bus stop. This was also a consideration for me.

The blue and yellow building towers over Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto; the first floor is used for parking and the main lobby. I went straight to the registration desk and, since I had already booked through the app, I only needed to reconfirm with the front desk clerk. In front of the registration desk were a pair of chairs with a round table between them. And there was another long sofa that seemed to be part of the same set as the two chairs. Customers could sit there while waiting in line or just to sit down.

After getting the key, I hurried to my room on the second floor using the lift right in front of the registration desk. I walked down the corridor and found a door marked with the number 210. That was my room.

As soon as I opened the door with my tap card, we could see what was in front of us. Two single beds that were neat and clean. The room wasn't very big, but I thought it was worth the price I paid.

In front of our beds was an LCD TV with a small table underneath to store things. There was a remote control for the TV and air conditioner, as well as two bottles of mineral water for us.

Additionally, on the right side of the bed, there is a bathroom with a toilet. I don't mind the toilet being combined with the shower like this. However, if you don't like messiness, this could be a problem. The shower, sink, and toilet are all in the same room. There are two clean towels, as well as shampoo and soap already provided in bottles.

Right in front of the bathroom, there is a seat and a clothes hanger for guests to store their clothes or bags. There is no mini fridge or deposit box like in other hotels. This is understandable considering that this is only a three-star hotel and very affordable.

There is nothing else special; everything is minimalist, even the room decor is very simple. Am I satisfied with this accommodation? Honestly, I am satisfied. It is quite good with easy access to everywhere.
