Visit Wat Baan Luang, Phrao District, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. My wife and I traveled to another district again, but we were still traveling within Chiang Mai province. This time we went to Phrao District. It was a simple trip where we visited temples in this district. One of them is Wat Baan Luang. In this post, I'll take you to see Wat Baan Luang, a small temple in a rural village in Phrao District. This is our second time traveling to this district. We first go to Phrao District 3 years ago. My wife and I don't know the tourist attractions and temples in this district. So it was an unplanned trip. When we arrived in Phrao District, we used google to search for temples in the district. And drove around the district. We go to Baan Luang village too. Wat Baan Luang is located in this village.

A brief history of Wat Baan Luang. Although Wat Baan Luang is not yet 100 years old, but this temple is an old temple, approximately 94 years old. Wat Baan Luang was officially permitted to be established as a temple in AD 1932. And in 1980 or 46 years ago, the temple received royal granting of the land to a particular temple by announcing in royal decree.

The vibe at Wat Baan Luang. Wat Baan Luang doesn't have a large area. This temple only has a buddha image hall (viharn), an ordination hall (ubosot), a bell tower, a pavilion for the monks and section containing the monks' living quarters, take a look.

Besides the vibe inside the temple, I will take you to see the vibe outside the temple. It was a nice vibe with potato fields and the community. The sky was quite clear and cool.
