Trip with my wife and granddaughter, see our first sea of mist this year.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. New Year holiday this year, my granddaughter and autistic son's school are closed from today until January 4th. But every year during the New Year holidays, my wife and I can't go on holiday. We have to take care of our autistic son at home. Crowded and noisy places can trigger our autistic son to become more frustrated with self-harm. And this year too, our New Year's holiday can't go on holiday. Yesterday so my wife and I went on a trip with our granddaughter before our son's New Year's holiday. Our granddaughter wanted to see the sea of fog. So I drove up into a mountain in a nearby district. That is Chai Prakan District. Chai Prakan district has many mountain viewpoints. This time we went to a viewpoint located within Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park. It is approximately 1,412 MSL high. And from this viewpoint, you can see the sea of fog or sea of mist during the winter season every year.

Our journey to this viewpoint. This viewpoint is about 26 kilometers from our house. We have to travel on the main road (Highway 107) for approximately 10 kilometers. And approximately 5.5 kilometers of rural road. Then we traveled another 10.5 kilometers on the road winds over the plateau and the mountain road. We had to through many villages (Both local Thai villages and Yunnan Chinese villages in Thailand) and mountains. Some of vibe for our journey this time.

At first my wife and I thought we might not see the sea of fog or sea of mist when we arrived at the viewpoint. Because we have to send our autistic son to school first, so we were late. But we're lucky, we saw the sea of mist from this viewpoint. This is the first sea of ​​mist we've seen this year. We enjoyed the sea of ​​mist, the view and had fun taking photos too.

The atmosphere around the viewpoint was beautiful too. The Wild Himalayan Cherry are in beautiful bloom right now.

This trip with my wife and granddaughter was very fun and happy. Although my granddaughter got carsick when she first arrived at this viewpoint. And we will visit here again next year.
