That was very nice of you to offer your expertise for the young fella. One thing that might be filled with judgement on my part is the fact that you are telling us that nobody in this family has any money but the young buck there has several hundred or perhaps a thousand dollars worth of shitty tattoos. Their priorities are all wrong.
I agree with you about Thai massage though. Outside of the really old ladies with arms like a pro wrestler, I don't think very many of these masseurs actually have any idea what they are doing.
I totally agree with you. Yeah, sometimes I don't understand Thai people, because they can spend all their money and buy a phone, some decorations for their bodies, get a full set of tattoos, or even get a loan and buy an expensive car. And at the same time, live on garbage and are crying that they don't have money. I think there is a problem everywhere, not only in Thailand, but here it looks like a hypertrophy problem. I am not a judge, but sometimes, when you see people like this talking about how foreigners have money and at the same time don't know how to work or what a hard life is, it makes me sad. So anyway, the help is help, and if you want to help, help despite people's behaviour. Anyway, you can gain experience and maybe good karma if you do it with a clear mind.
