El jardín de las orquídeas/ The Orchid Garden

El paraje natural de Soroa, está situado en la provincia de Artemisa, en Cuba.
Dentro de su amplia gama se encuentra el Orquideario, jardín creado alrededor del año 1943 por Tomás Felipe Camacho, abogado de origen canario.

[ The Soroa Natural Area is located in the province of Artemisa, Cuba. Among its wide array of attractions is the Orchid Garden, a garden created around 1943 by Tomás Felipe Camacho, a lawyer of Canarian origin. ]

La fundación de este jardín fue impulsada por el amor a las orquídeas, flor favorita de la esposa de Tomás.
En sus inicios fue dedicado solamente pa a las orquídeas, pero con el paso de los años de ha convertido en un sitio emblemático de investigación, conservación y exhibición botánica. Convirtiéndose a su vez en un atractivo centro turístico a nivel nacional e internacional.

[ The founding of this garden was inspired by a love for orchids—the favorite flower of Tomás's wife. Initially, it was dedicated exclusively to orchids; however, over the years, it has evolved into an iconic center for botanical research, conservation, and exhibition—becoming, in turn, a major tourist attraction of both national and international renown. ]

Mi experiencia en este lugar fue maravillosa, desde que entra por sus alrededores se puede percibir el entorno puro y fresco que genera la flora natural.
Sin dudas alguna el contacto con la naturaleza es uno de mis momentos favoritos.
