We'll soon have tomatoes at home

I believe this is my first post in this wonderful community. I like it because I've just read several posts here from motivated people growing or caring for plants, flowers, food, etc., and I've always found this marvelous because it's the best way to obtain completely organic products that help preserve health. At home, my wife and I improvised a small "garden" in an old washing machine that no longer worked: we filled it with soil and intended to plant some things there, like peppers and garlic, but unfortunately nothing ever grew. However, my wife always sprinkles seeds from some fruits in there when she's cleaning them for lunch, and that's how, believe it or not, we suddenly saw the first sprouts, without knowing what they were.

Soon the plant began to grow enormously and then, after a quick internet search, we realized that it was a tomato plant and that the best thing to do was to stick stakes in the ground to give the plant support, and also tie it at the top so that the stems would not bend....

That motivated us even more, so I planted a spearmint plant that someone had given me, and I was very pleased to see that it adapted perfectly to the soil. This plant is very aromatic, ideal for refreshing cocktails and even for chewing, which leaves your breath very fresh. However, we were a little sad to see that despite the passage of time, our tomato plant was not bearing fruit, even though it had already sprouted flowers.

But a couple of days ago we were really happy to see a few tomatoes sprouting from some of those flowers. They're not very big yet, just tiny shoots, but I get the impression they're developing really fast, so it's just a matter of time before we have delicious, completely organic tomatoes in the kitchen.

I even see that up there, at the very top of the plant, there are more flowers, which makes me think that perhaps a few more tomatoes will come soon, God willing.

In the backyard, where we keep the plant, it's usually very sunny, so I make sure to keep it well-hydrated, watering it twice a day. Sometimes I also remove the dry leaves with scissors. Removing the dry leaves is good because it helps prevent pests and fungal diseases, and without them, the plant can focus its energy on new growth.

Growing and caring for plants is a very relaxing activity for us at home, and it's also rewarding to see the results of our daily work. I hope these tomatoes will soon grow even bigger and I can harvest them perfectly healthy, and I will certainly share that moment with you, God willing.

Well, with nothing more to add for now, I bid you farewell until next time, God willing. I hope you have a fruitful and happy harvest, that your plants grow healthy and your flowers are even more radiant.

Its always exciting when we see a great progress in our plants. Its exciting that soon, we'll get to harvest what we planted. And using an improvised pot for the pot are really awesome. Mama used broken casserole, she also used galloon.

Yes, the truth is that you can use almost anything as a flowerpot. My wife even used a broken pot once, she decorated it and it looked beautiful.
