It usually snows on New Year's Day, and it's so nice to open jars of pickled tomatoes and cucumbers (which we grew in the summer). Adjika and cherry compote. This was the case when I was a child in the 1980s.

Adjika is a spicy seasoning (sometimes not very spicy). This includes tomatoes, red peppers, garlic, zucchini.
