Good day dear Mates! while my garden is resting at this winter silent period it's came time to prepare to upcoming season and some plans for it.
But before I'd like to tell you how is it looking now while this time. Honestly this winter became very unpredictable in my region and in all country too. December before last decade was without snow and with a small frost. But closer to new Year and Xmas weather changed and snow came to us. Then temperature began to move down. So New Year we met with frosts and snow storm. And after my garden immersed in a snowy captivity. Several times temperature even moved below -23 degrees Celsius.

After several snowfalls my green house turned out covered with the snow as you can see on photo below.

Honestly I was afraid that green house wont's stand against this huge snow pressure like it happened with my neighbor's green house. To compare here is the level of the snow after one of snow storms.

Also all my blueberry, gooseberry, cranberry, roses and other bushes also hidden under the snow. Here you can see just a white carpet.

By the way as so as it is winter in my garden I can just clean snow additionally I started preparation to the upcoming gardening season. And to start it as I wrote in my previous post I decided to start from buying seeds and planting some herbs like mint, lemon balm seeds or tarragon. Now after several days they began to sprout coz I realized that I needed fresh greenery and want to feel taste and smell of this young juicy herbs.

Hope in April and May I'll get first harvest after long winter period.
Another important point that today my second half got additional seeds of the flowers which I think we'll plant soon. Among them seed of petunias and eustoma a.s.o.

Also with flower plants we bought pots for seedlings. Honestly I was ready to buy more seeds but as I wrote before I'd like to focus more on trees and bushes. Unfortunately to start this activity I can only when all the snow has melted. So that's all for beginning of March in my garden. Stay tuned! Yours @travoved
