Everything indicates that my concept of the garden and how I will grow my plants requires a local revision. This week it was snowing and freezing again. Today the snow melted and I went to the garden to assess the damage done.
It was a real disaster for my colours! Fortunately, not all of them have been tried, but only those that have long stems. The snow broke them. My frytillaries, which served as the main spring decoration of my garden, are now lying on the ground, their flowers are dying 🥹
Peonies and hyacinths were almost unharmed and it comforted me a little. But nevertheless, the problem remains. Of course, I can cover one of the enclosures where pheasants used to live with a film. But this will solve the problem next spring. It's too late to do anything for this year's flowers.
I once again thought that the landmark I chose two years ago for trees and shrubs as the main plants was correct. However, I can't have a garden without flowers! It seems that I will have to face significant material costs to solve this problem. The good thing is that I have at least half a year - until November, to do it.

Good morning. Yes, it will not seems nice to have a garden without flowers, sorry about what that snow cause, I hope the fritillaries grow beautifully again.
