The rains have finally stopped. After auditing the garden this morning, I realised that it had turned into a real jungle! We need to do something about it...
It's clear that I can't do it in one day. Especially since it's getting hotter outside. Nevertheless, my principle is better to do little than to do nothing at all. In such cases, I divide a large amount of work in the garden into small "squares".
The first stage is wild grapes. It creates an excellent hedge. But the disadvantage is that it grows very quickly, attacking neighbouring plants. So a small haircut won't hurt it.

But I really like this part of the garden. An excellent vertical gardening is formed here. However, the space around was occupied by weeds. Therefore, cleaning this space and mulching will be the second stage of garden work this week.

The lawn grass I sowed gave excellent spreds. It's time to mow it a little. But the problem is that my hosts also grow here... we need to come up with a way to mow the grass without damaging other plants. I'll probably try to use plastic bottles, which I'll cover those plants that shouldn't suffer.

Yesterday I planted some new chrysanthemums. Besides, my roses are also blooming. Nevertheless, the plants do not seem completely happy to me. This is especially true for roses. I wouldn't be surprised if a closer examination would make me find any harmful insects...

In addition, my stem roses need to be pruned. They have abundant shoots all over the stem, but this is incorrect. The whole essence of the war rose is flowering exclusively in the upper part of the stem.

So, this is the minimum plan for the week. It may seem that it can be done in one day. It's really true if you do just that. But my day is also filled with my work and caring for animals. Besides, I need to see a doctor. Therefore, I will be able to devote no more than an hour a day to the garden.
nice garden
No rain here for a while, but not so hot as well.
It's good to plan the work before heading into the battle. The war on weeds ahead seems tough since they have grown bigger, swarming around important plants. This has always been my struggle - weeds seem to grow faster than my blinks, lol I hope you get things done as planned. Just one step at a time. And above all, always enjoy the time spent with your lovely plants. 💚
Your garden sounds full of life! The wild grapes look beautiful and grows faster. I like your idea using plastic bottles. keep kt up and I hope you find a way to make them healthier.
