Progress Update on My Rice Farm and the Joys of Farming.

Hi guys, it's another day of farming, and I decided to go visit my rice farm today to see how well they are doing and if they are probably growing well. Sometimes last week I wrote about how I started my plantation and how I was able to get to the stage where I planted the rice, and as I have gone through some stress planting it, after I have done that, I figured out that it is very necessary I go there and check up time after time because of some weed that might want to take over, but I won't allow them to water my effort.

This morning I then went to the farm, but before I went to the farm, I saw some green lights about what I had planted, and I was happy before I got there because I was seeing the green color of the plant from afar. When I got to the farm, I went straight to the plot that I made last, and I could remember I did a pathway for the place where water will flow by the side way so that the water intake of the plants won't be in excess, and when I got there, I saw that it was something good that later turned out to be.

Now the growth of the rice is making me happy because my effort was not in vain. I chose to walk around the plot of plants and took some pictures of each ridge, and as you can see, the pathway for water is really showing clearly. Aside from that, I won't need to do any wetting at all, but for the sake of the rain and the season we are currently in, I won't need to do anything like add water to any ridges. Now my hard work is paying off gradually, and as you can see, the plot is growing, and I can't wait to get my rice harvested very soon.

Actually, I was motivated to do this by what @anggreklestari posted some days ago about her farm. I feel so motivated to do more, seeing what she does and the kinds of plants and vegetables she grows. Doing farming activities is not always easy, but when you do what is necessary, you will get a better reward from it. Farming has saved a lot of people from poverty and starvation, and this is part of the reason I choose to plant some things. At least, it will save me some money, which I use to buy stuff from the market.

Actually, at this time and period, going to the market to buy some vegetables is very expensive; talk more about getting pepper. My tomatoes are now getting ready to be harvested, and my cucumber plantations are now bringing out fruits, which is a plus for me when I want to see them. Even if I am not selling much, I still have something to eat and feed my family with. Agriculture is still the best means of enjoyment and feeding, once you do it right.
