Eschscholzia in my garden.

Eschscholzia

A flower called Eschscholzia grows at our dacha. Many years ago, we came across this flower on the side of the road. We went to the river for relaxation. We dug it up and brought it to the dacha.

At the moment, Eschscholzia grows. It sows itself. We pull it out like a weed. There are a lot of them at our dacha. It interferes with other plants that we plant. Thus, it has grown all over the dacha.

Is it a perennial? I don’t know for sure. The flower sows its seeds. It blooms from June to October. It is not afraid of the hot sun. Since our dacha is not irrigated, we are happy that this flower always blooms and does not wither. It is resistant to heat. Since we found it on the side of the road, it is not demanding about the soil.

I love it for its color. The color is bright yellow. This year, we left some of these flowers in a place where we had nothing planted. I liked that this flower looked like a poppy. I typed the description of the flower on the Internet, and that's how I found out what it was called, Eschscholzia.
