Elderflower fritters for sure. Yum. Mine never got enough cold days to smell that fragrant. Bugger with the figs. They are the most delicious fruits arent they. Hedging bets is a good idea all round.

Ooh, yum. We just got another cool snap with some more rain, so we'll see how these flowers pop in the next few days!
So sad about the figs, but I guess I can't complain since we had such a stellar harvest last year. Keeping fingers and toes crossed for plums and persimmons.
And my first little zuke is getting closer and closer...😂
Now if you had no zukes, that would be cause for panic!
