I think sometimes we just have to go for the plants that work, and give up on the ones that don't. Especially in extreme weather, right? For some reason echinacea never works for me. Ever. I've given up - would rather focus on the ones that I do have success with. Life is too short, right? When does the cool weather hit for you?

Lately in Venezuela—and I think all over the world—the climate has changed so much that the seasons aren't what they used to be. For example, the rainy season used to start in May, but this year it has barely rained; and today, for instance, there might be a heavy downpour, yet the next day it's still so sunny that it dries out the ground. And the cold weather that used to start in November sometimes doesn't come at all, or it comes late and lasts only a few days.
