This week's #hivegardenqotw is an easy one - draw a map of your garden, and tell us what's good about it, and what you'd change (if anything!). I've been meaning to do this for a while as I always wonder if my posts make sense to people. So, here's my garden plan!

What I love about the layout is that I have both a soil bed and raised beds - one day, maybe I won't have the mobility to reach down to the soil, but for now, I may as well make use of the space. This weekend Jamie's moving more veggie mix soil onto the soil beds as it's super sandy and I need a head start reinforcing the soil and improving the structure and fertility. Plus I have more space, as I've already planted out the raised beds entirely.
So far, I haven't found anything I don't really like about this layout, although some access steps into the raised area would be good. I do wish I didn't have marauding thieving possums and birds though - it'd look prettier without all the bird nets, right?

I know I was meant to have one photo but I couldnt' fit it all in
Right, that's three hundred words! Now, show me your garden map!
With Love,

Great
Your photos previously were pretty good and I had a good idea of the layout. (Plus it's not a large garden...) But it's nice to see the map and confirm where I thought things were.
YOu really have an elaborate little garden going on, along with the chickens. The drawing brought it all together for me. Even though your pictures were good. Icouldn't really piece it all togheter in my head.
We are getting antsy about getting our flowers beds and pots going. But we know we have to wait a bit longer. We can prepare though and that is what we want to start doing soon I think.
Well… yes, it would look prettier, but it’s also necessary to protect the harvest. Either way, a well‑arranged garden, carefully planned, will always have great charm.
It sure is. Now they mandate locking up cats indoors there's more possums! Can't win...
It's gorgeous! I'm super excited about this next season of growing. I have a garden space after years of not having one!!! Eeeeep. Your netting is a needed blessing! Those darn critters will destroy everything they can.
