Some growers say that pechay is ready for harvest by Day 25.
But here I am on Day 24, still transferring mine. 🫣
Sadly, not all of my pechay grew well.
The ones I planted directly on the ground didn't receive enough sunlight.
So, they remained small and struggled to grow.

Pechay truly needs enough sunlight to thrive, and I learned that the hard way.
Anyway, a few days ago, my hubby found some used plastic containers.

Instead of throwing them away, we transform them into planters.
He cut them using a grinder, to be able to fill soil with them later.

Each container was slowly trimmed.
He also created a waterway at the bottom of each container.
It's like a drainage hole so excess water could escape.
You know, too much water can be just as harmful as too little.
One by one, we filled them with soil, to be ready for planting.

Then, instead of giving up on the pechay on the ground, I transferred it into our recycled containers and brought it upstairs where the sunlight is better. ☀️

I'm giving them another chance, a better spot, better light, and hopefully, because of that, they grow better.
So yeah, my pechay is not ready for harvest on Day 25.
But, they're not done growing either.
And that's what matters.
Anyway, let me show you the biggest one out of all of them.

This one truly embraced the sunlight upstairs which is why it stretched its leaves wide.
Can you notice the difference?

Truly leaves become broader and greener once they are placed where they are meant to grow.
It amazes me how much sunlight can change everything.
So, if you're not growing, you know what to do?
Go outside and feel the heat of the sun! 🤣
Stop complaining as sunlight solves more problems than overthinking. HAHA
Until my next progress...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
